Not much to report around here, still filling out job applications and searching for places that are hiring. Have had a few leads but they haven't led anywhere. But I'm trying to remain hopeful as much as possible.
It's times like today when I haven't had any good job leads, or any plans that I really wish I could be home, or that I had a stable job so that I could save enough money to go to Columbus for Jonathan and Kate's wedding in July. I wish I could be home to see my dad do relay for life in woman's clothing, and then knowing my family we might get ice cream afterward, or at the very least sit on the porch talking. I wish I could go to the wedding because Jonathan's like a brother and Kate and I became awesome friends when carpooling to church during the fall semester, and I love that the two of them are finally getting married. But I made the decision to stay in North Carolina knowing full well that I was sacrificing all of those things, so I'm going to have to make the best of it.
On the upside, my parents are coming in less than 2 months and my birthday is in less than a month. Plus, my dad said that there was a pretty good chance that I could go to Indiana in October to see Kara get married so that's a good thing, because not only would I get to see Jonathan and Kate, at the wedding, I would also get to see my lovely friend Amy who I miss so so much.
